More power and higher cost-effectiveness - with outstanding reliability

General description

More power with the same frame size – this is our concept for our low voltage three-phase motors.
SIMOTICS TN Series N-compact is a motor series that has a lot going for it.
The power rating of these motors above DIN 42673 is extremely progressive and lies significantly above the power rating of the previous series with unchanged frame size.
Specifically:
The power rating has been increased by 60 % in the surface-cooled version (t.e.f.c.) and another 30 % for the open-circuit ventilated versions and all of this means: The drive power has been doubled.

The gray caste iron frame and the bearing endshields are torsionally stiff and rugged. This means that they can be subject to extreme loads, vibration is significantly dampened and they are resistant to corrosion.

The bearings are designed for the highest degree of reliability. In turn, this results in excellent vibrational behavior, longer lifetime and lower service & maintenance costs.

The DURIGNIT IR 2000 insulation system with VPI or current UV impregnation guarantees a high degree of reliability, a long lifetime and a high load capability e.g. when accelerating or under overload conditions.

General description

The increasing significance of energy-saving, environmental legislation, the desire for even smaller dimensions and the demands of domestic and international markets have led to the further development of the H-compact series that has proven itself over the years.
SIMOTICS TN Series H-compact motors are used in the widest range of industry sectors - such as oil & gas, paper, chemical industry or steel. In these sectors, they are used to drive compressors, blowers, refiners, crushers and air separation systems.

The synthesis of a compact motor design and modular cooling with highest reliability and performance, especially for converter operation

General description

Highest power rating, reliability, efficiency and modular cooling system:
This distinguishes the three-phase motors SIMOTICS TN Series H-compact PLUS.
These motors are available in shaft heights 450, 500, 560 mm with a gray cast iron enclosure, in degree of protection IP55 or IP23 - air or water cooled.
The insulation and bearing system guarantees the highest degree of reliability.
Siemens frequency converters and motors generate an efficient drive system for applications with constant torque and also with square-law countertorque characteristic.
The lifecycle costs are extremely important and these make the SIMOTICS TN Series H-compact PLUS motor so attractive. Especially for motors driven by variable speed drives the optimization for SINAMICS low voltage converters and for the complete drive train offers lower costs during the whole lifecycle due to best performance values.
